Product Management Intern - Ultra Low Power CMOS - Summer 2026

Description

As a Product Management Intern focused on wireless and IoT technologies, you will operate at the intersection of hardware engineering and business strategy. This role emphasizes understanding semiconductor-based systems at a PCB and component level and translating technical insights into market‑aligned product and business propositions. You will gain exposure to how GlobalFoundries’ technologies enable wireless, IoT, and ultra‑low‑power applications, while developing skills in market analysis, ambiguity navigation, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Essential Responsibilities include:

Market & Teardown Research

Conduct market research and device teardown analysis in wireless and IoT domains (e.g., Wi Fi, Bluetooth, connected devices) to identify technology trends, system architectures, and competitive positioning.

Technology-to-Business Translation

Synthesize technical findings from teardown and market research into clear business insights and value propositions aligned with GlobalFoundries’ process technologies and offerings.

Cross-Functional Exposure

Collaborate with product management, commercial teams, and potentially customers to understand how technical capabilities translate into customer value and market opportunity.

Other Responsibilities:

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
