Software Dev/AI Tools – Co-op/Intern
Description
Currently a candidate for a Master’s, Bachelor's degree, or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.\n\n## Your responsibilities\n\nYou will:\n\n* Take initiative, learn quickly, and experiment with new tools and ideas while working with global teams.\n\n* Build sample integrations using APIs and SDKs, along with helper scripts for validation and extensions.\n\n* Prepare evaluation datasets and create scripts to validate results, ensuring accuracy and consistency.\n\n* Test NTA scripts with agents and collaborate with engineers across networking domains (IP, Optical, and Fixed Networks).\n\n* Contribute to reference HLD/LLDs and maintain documentation, how‑to guides, and wiki updates in partnership with domain experts.\n\n## Your skills and experience\n\nYou Have:\n\n* Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/React, with comfort working with JSON and YAML.\n\n* Ability to understand existing codebases and develop new features or enhancements on top of them.\n\n* Solid understanding of Linux, cloud fundamentals (GCP/AWS/Azure), and familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD concepts (pytest is a plus).\n\n* Interest in developer tooling, automation, and working with SQL or MongoDB for database tasks.\n\n* Basic familiarity with AI/NLP concepts and a willingness to continue learning in this space.\n\nIt would be nice if you also had:\n\n* Experience building ref workflows for config generation / chunking validation\n\n* Writing UT for automation utilities
