Hardware Validation Intern - Master's Degree 🎓

What You Can Expect

• Challenging Work: Drive the characterization and validation of high-speed interfaces like PCIe, and Ethernet, focusing on electrical performance, compliance, and debugging.

• Innovation Opportunities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test methodologies, analyze circuit behavior, and identify optimizations for silicon performance and yield improvements.

• State-of-the-Art Tools: Utilize advanced equipment, including real-time and sampling oscilloscopes, BERTs, spectrum, vector and protocol analyzers, to conduct extensive tests and implement automation scripts for efficiency.

• Customer-Centric Collaboration: Provide engineering support to customers and internal teams to address performance tuning, issue resolution, and system integration challenges.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related fields with an anticipated graduation date between Winter 2026 and Spring 2027. A focus in high-speed SERDES design is preferred.

• Proficiency in lab equipment (oscilloscopes, VNAs, etc.) and signal integrity concepts like jitter, S-Parameter and eye diagram analysis, PAM-4 signaling, and SERDES compliance testing

• Experience in automation using Python to streamline validation processes. C, C++, VBA, Matlab

• Experience with data visualization tools such as JMP, R, Matlab, Excel, pandas

• Solid fundamentals of analog & digital circuits and data communication systems. Strong analytical skills to debug, root-cause issues, and propose innovative solutions in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively across global, multi-disciplinary teams
