Data Analyst Intern/Co-op
Description
Join our CIBC Technology Operations team as a Data Analyst Co-op, and have a real impact in making our clients’ ambitions a reality! This is a great opportunity to be a part of an innovation-focused team that is helping to drive CIBC’s digital transformation by supporting the design and implementation of large-scale technology projects and initiatives. In this role you will bring knowledge of and passion for data and analytics to help evolve the streamline various data assets related to project data – apply (or learn to apply) data organization, integration, visualization and automation principles and tools and help create current and future state data assets (conventional and AI) and system diagrams.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Data skills – Assist in creating a more streamlined and organized project data assets using data organization, integration, visualization and automation principles and tools. Experience in one or more of SQL, APIs, Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, and other tools
Client-Focused – Help resolve requests/inquiries, including access/grants management, to the mailbox(es). Develop strong relationships with partners to satisfy and improve the overall partner experience
Multi-Tasker - experienced with multi-tasking and working in fast-paced, often-changing environment. Experience working in a team where processes and procedures are changing and updating
