The Data Engineering Undergraduate internship experience is an 10.5 weeks full-time opportunity that starts on May 27th, 2026, and concludes on August 7th, 2026. This is a hybrid position with 3 days (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in the New York, NY; Hartford, CT; Irving, TX or Wellesley, MA office location. The other 2 days each week may be worked remotely from home, another location, or you’re welcome to be in the office on those days as well.
The hourly rate is $49/hr with 40 hours/week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave. Additionally, our corporate interns have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a future role with CVS Health.
Sponsorship:
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.
Relocation:
CVS Health follows a hybrid work model providing office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that need to move over 50 miles.

What You’ll Do:
This internship is designed to accelerate your growth through hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional development. You’ll gain exposure to:
· Partnering with analytics teams and business stakeholders to understand goals and translate them into technical solutions
· Building robust data pipelines to organize, standardize, and integrate data from diverse sources
· Collaborating with data science and product teams to implement data transformations, algorithms, and models into automated processes
· Designing and deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for large-scale data processing and advanced analytics
· Troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and implementing preventive measures
· Applying Agile/SAFe methodologies and strategic thinking
