Test Development Engineer Intern
Description
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Test Development Engineering Intern located in our Austin, TX site.
Reporting to the Test Development Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.
What a typical day looks like:

Work with fellow Electrical Engineers to design the electrical and software aspects of functional test equipment

Electrical wiring diagram creation

Software development using C, LabView, TestStand and off the shelf software packages such as Python or C#

Build electrical cards and oversee tester wiring

Participate in the bring-up and validation of the test equipment

Attend team meetings and support project work as needed
Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:

Junior or Senior student pursuing BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related major

Enthusiastic about working for a manufacturing company in a test development role

Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills
-
Ability to understand electrical schematics or wiring diagrams

Experience using measurement instrumentation

Experience with instrument drivers or automating test measurements a plus!

Previous manufacturing-related internship experience a plus!
Internship Program Requirements:

Available to start on May 26th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment

Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university

3.0 minimum GPA
