Software Engineer Business Systems Intern

We are looking for University students passionate about building large-scale, mission-critical software in a fast-paced agile environment. The intern will be part of a team developing the tools to integrate and build Okta’s enterprise applications and business solutions. In this role you will help to scale our business solutions to the next generation, enabling Okta to be the most efficient, scalable, and best-run company. The vision is to make Okta the system of record and help customers with their journey to the Cloud, continue to automate the journey and lower the barrier of entry to their migration journey.

What You’ll Do

• Design and write efficient, scalable code using JavaScript (SuiteScript 2.1) to automate critical Finance NetSuite ERP.

• Design and prototype an AI-driven Finance capability by using our internal LLM (Lite LLM/Gemini/Claud/OpenAI) and AWS Bedrock platform.

• Build integrations between NetSuite and other SaaS Finance applications, such as Coupa, Scout, and others. using REST APIs and iPaaS solutions (Like Boomi).

• Analyze legacy scripts to identify performance bottlenecks and refactor them to improve speed and governance.

• Work directly with Product Analysts to translate business pain points into technical engineering solutions.
