We’re excited to offer a 4-month summer opportunity to dive into the world of product management, research, and design. As a Product Management Intern, you will work closely with senior product managers, designers, and engineers to support the research, development, and execution of innovative product initiatives for Houseful and enterprise engagements. You will conduct market research, analyze customer insights, and contribute to the design and delivery of high-quality product solutions. This role is ideal for someone with a curious and analytical mindset, a passion for technology, and a desire to bridge customer insights with business objectives and contribute to high-impact product initiatives
What will you do?

Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze customer insights and translate them into actionable product decisions.

Assist in building and optimizing user experiences by contributing to product design and development.

Work closely with designers and engineers to ensure alignment between user needs, technical feasibility, and business value.

Break down ambiguous problems into structured components to support clear and effective execution.

Conduct research into macro trends, customer segments, and market opportunities to inform product strategies.

Collaborate with internal teams to understand total addressable markets (TAM), customer buying power, and attitudes toward product adoption.

Contribute to analysis and documentation to support active product initiatives
What do you need to succeed?
Must-haves
-
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Design, or related field) or pursuing an MBA

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into actionable solutions.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Curious and analytical mindset with a passion for technology and user experience.

Comfortable with ambiguity and able to structure complex problems.

Familiarity with product management principles, agile methodologies, or product development lifecycles.
Nice-to-haves

Prior experience or coursework in product management or user research

Basic understanding of data analysis or prototyping tools.

Interest in design thinking, visual design, or design systems

Passion and/or experience in fintech, real estate, or innovation-driven environments.

Please note: This posting is for a 4-months Summer 2026 Student placement with a start date of May 2026, and end date of August 2026. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:

Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2026 ; or

If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in August 2026), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
