Embedded Developer Intern - Test Automation

Geotab is seeking an Embedded Developer Intern who will be responsible for assisting with the development of Test Automation tools for rapid detection and response systems for our embedded/IoT devices. As an Embedded Developer Intern with the Test Automation team, your key area of responsibility will be developing automated tests and implementing HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) systems to support our embedded products using Python. You will assist with project work and day-to-day activities depending on your experience including GPS, Modems, Accelerometers, Vehicle Data and helping to implement CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, you will utilize big data environments to analyze the effectiveness of firmware changes, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high standards through peer code reviews and technical documentation. You will need to work closely with the Lead Test Automation Engineer and colleagues on the Embedded Systems Team, as well as stakeholders in Systems Engineering, Software Development, and Solution Engineering.
